Personal and Pet Trackers

Keep Track of the People and Pets You Love

Help People Stay Close to Those Who Matter Most

Families need simple, reliable ways to keep the people and pets they love safe. By relaying real-time data to family members or caretakers, personal and pet trackers help keep wearers safe and provide real peace of mind to the people who look after them.

A Faster Way to Reunite

Personal and pet trackers can be life‑saving tools. They help people quickly locate loved ones in stressful situations by providing precise GPS data and continuous location updates.

These devices can send alerts when someone or a pet leaves a designated safe area or goes missing, thanks to geofencing and smart notification rules. Additional analytics enable ongoing tracking and monitoring of health, activity, behavior, and more.

IoT Requirements for
Personal Tracking

Personal and pet trackers require highly optimized hardware that offers low-power connectivity and location transceivers for long battery life, in a small package for greater comfort at an affordable cost.

The Ultimate Performance in the Personal Tracking Market

Altair cellular IoT chips are ideal for personal and pet trackers, designed from the ground up for ultra-low power consumption and featuring a hardware-based security engine with GNSS functionality and an integrated SIM in a miniature-sized SiP.

Small Size

Altair chips have a small form factor, enabling compact devices that can be easily placed on a person or pet and removed when needed. The highly integrated ALT1250 modem has a small footprint yet holds all required components, enabling miniature module sizes as small as 100mm².

Long Battery Life

Altair cellular IoT chips provide low-power, wide-area connectivity, maintaining low power consumption and enabling long battery life while delivering real-time location tracking of people or pets.

Out-of-the-Box Connectivity

Choosing an iSIM-enabled chip means choosing out-of-the-box connectivity. Deploying connected devices becomes faster and easier — no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth provisioning required. The device connects autonomously, straight out of the box.

Highly Secured Communication

Altair cellular IoT chips provide the first and only security architecture approved by tier-1 operators, with built-in security designed from the bottom up. The ALT1250 LTE-M and NB-IoT modem offers highly secured communication, while OTA upgrades keep the tracker relevant and secure for years after installation.
