What you will be doing

As a SOC Verification student, you'll develop complex verification environments for Sony's advanced 5G IoT semiconductor products. Working directly with design and software teams, you'll take part in the verification efforts from block-level to full chip integration. Your work ensures the quality and reliability of innovative systems that power millions of connected devices worldwide.

On a typical day

On a typical day, you might start by analyzing test reports from overnight regressions, collaborate with designers to debug a complex protocol issue, learn and implement verification methodologies, and participate in a technical review of a new test environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the SoC Silicon Verification team
  • Investigate, invent, develop, innovate, and improve challenging verification environments in a full-chip platform
  • Multi-disciplinary–participate in different steps of the verification flows
  • Acquire thorough knowledge and understanding of cutting-edge industry technology and standards
  • Work closely with the HW design team and support other team activities such as SW bring-up and debuggin

Requirements

  • Fourth-year student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Team player
  • Hands-on VLSI design or verification experience - an advantage
  • Experience in SW design and programming - an advantage
